Election Strategist Prashant Kishor Meets Ex-Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu in Surprise Meeting: Sources
Vijayawada: Election strategist Prashant Kishor, known for his work with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress in the previous Andhra Pradesh elections, had a surprise meeting with former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party, in Vijayawada on Saturday.
Sources confirmed that Kishor arrived in Vijayawada on a private jet with Nara Lokesh, Naidu’s son. The two then met with Naidu at his residence. However, the purpose of the meeting remains unclear.
This encounter raises eyebrows given Kishor’s previous electoral success against Naidu’s TDP in the 2019 elections. Speculation is rife about potential strategizing for the upcoming 2024 elections, though official statements from neither side have been issued.
